Hi, I’m Michael/ Mykel— the artist behind Insp!red.

I create anime-inspired artwork using simple tools: a simple sketch book, pencils and biro pens. What started as quiet moments of sketching characters I love slowly grew into something bigger when I began sharing my art online. Seeing people connect with my drawings, emotions, and favourite anime moments has been one of the most motivating parts of my journey.

Anime has always been more than entertainment for me — it’s inspiration, comfort, and storytelling that stays with you. When I draw, I try to capture those same feelings on paper: the softness of a moment, the intensity of a stare, or the quiet emotion between characters.

Every piece you see here begins in my sketchbook (or scrolling for hours on Pinterest) , drawn by hand with patience and passion. No shortcuts — just lines, shades, and a genuine love for the process.

My dream is simple: to keep creating art I love and share it with people who feel the same connection to anime and art. If this journey can also grow into something that supports me and allows me to create even more, that would truly be a dream come true.
